My long-time Taiwanese friend, Vincent, first took me to 春山茶水舖 Spring Mountain Tea Shop several years ago, but I didn't get around to returning to acquire more information and try more of their drinks for a review until recently. The delay is due to the fact that I usually prefer coffee over tea and am not in that area of the city that often. However, there's nothing better than a cold, refreshing tea drink on a hot and humid day, which is basically every day in Taipei -- haha. It's one of the best tea shops in Taipei. They use quality tea that can be tasted in their drinks.
Spring Mountain Tea is very popular with the locals, so there is usually a waiting line, but the staff is efficient so the line moves quickly. I recommend avoiding their peak time period from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., as the weather is the hottest and the waiting line is the longest. Even though they close at 6 p.m., they sometimes run out of pearls as soon as 4 p.m., so keep that in mind if you're a pearl-lover. Their Pearl Milk Tea comes with pearls, of course, but you can add pearls to any drink for an additional NT$5.
Their menu is only in Chinese, but with this review, I'll make it very easy for anyone to order at 春山茶水舖 -- assuming you'll want to order one of their top ten selling drinks -- even if you don't speak a word of Mandarin. I have translated to English their top ten selling drinks, which are also what the locals order most of the time from my observations. My translated picture is in the photo section below, and I also included a large photo of it under the map section. This way you can just point at which number you want. All of the drinks on the top ten list are cold, so you don't have to specify whether you want your drink hot or cold, and their cold drinks only come in one size (700cc), so you'll also not have to specify what size you want. The only thing you'll need to specify is the amount of ice and sugar that you want. I have translated the sugar and ice information in the same top ten picture, so again, you can just point at what you want. You can use my photo in this review to show them on your smartphone while ordering, or you can pick up their top ten list that is sitting on a stand at the ordering area -- of course, you'll have had to already looked at my translated photo to know what you're pointing at since their menu is only in Chinese. That's it; you're finished ordering. They'll give you a number on a slip of paper and call it (only in Chinese) when your drink(s) is/are ready. If you can't understand numbers spoken in Chinese, just wait around near the desk and they'll end up pointing at you at some point letting you know that the drink waiting on the counter is yours.

They only have Chinese menus, so I have translated their top ten selling tea list along with the sugar and ice amount information.
