Sheep+Pony has a small menu, but what is on there is great. To make it short, I’ve enjoyed everything that I’ve ordered from Sheep & Pony, so you could very well choose to stop reading here. However, I encourage you to continue on because there is some information that may be pertinent to your dining experience.
First, the menu has changed every single time I’ve visited. This has made reviewing Sheep & Pony particularly difficult. One thing that has not changed; however, is the quality of their burgers. If you’re seated inside, then it’ll be easy to see how much time and attention goes into prepping them. The meat is juicy, tender, and thoroughly seasoned. It pairs nicely with the brioche bun it’s presented with. It looks fantastic when plated and served. Despite this, it may be a little too salty for some people. Also note that the price has fluctuated from 350 NTD (with sweet potato chips), to 250 (with optional chips), now to 290 NTD (with optional chips). Now for some bitter news. Brace yourselves! There are no fries available. Also there are no special toppings or other unique flavor offerings. I personally do not miss these options, but it is something to consider if you’re looking for variety.
Sheep & Pony also offers delicious taco options. Although their tacos are quite small, they’re packed with flavor. All tacos are served with homemade salsa and delicious, tender, seasoned meat. They’re all good, so I can’t recommend one over the other. The price has changed since they've updated the menu. It's better and cheaper than before. Check out the menu below to see the pricing.
If you’re looking for drumsticks, then these will knock you dead. They’re served with a honey, ginger sauce and are juicy and tender to the bone. Certainly nothing to shake a stick at. I didn’t expect to see drumsticks on the menu, but they’re a welcome addition as they are delicious and reasonably priced. You will not be disappointed, unless you have a rare condition in which you’re always disappointed.
Finally, let's talk about the atmosphere and layout of the restaurant. I have mixed feelings about it. It’s a tight squeeze in the bar area, and the alfresco seating style would be great for winter, but is a bit much in the hot and humid summer months. It’s a nice place to hangout though, and if you’re feeling social, the owners are nice people. It has a welcoming vibe. I just wish there was a bit more space.
All in all, Sheep & Pony is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for consistently good cuisine. You can taste the care and preparation that goes into making each dish. The problem lies in that you don’t know what will be on the menu when you get there. Get ready to be shocked! Or mildly surprised. Or just confused. Or simply just subtly annoyed. Enjoy!

I couldn't find a video about Sheep+Pony, so here's an old fainting-goat video in glorious 360P.
