Ray Cafe is located really close to Zhongxiao Dunhua MRT Station, which is nice since I don't know of any other coffee shops around that station that have good and reasonably-priced coffee. I like how they have two tables outside, but, unfortunately, in Taipei these types of tables are usually occupied with smokers that will make you regret your outside-seating choice--that is if you loathe the smell of cigarette smoke like I do. They have a small inside seating area that's okay, but a little too cramped.
They make a good cappuccino, but aren't totally consistent with the serving temperature and the strength, which is the main reason why I couldn't give them a 5-star rating. That and I didn't like their brown sugar latte, which made me forgo trying their other flavored latte drinks that I usually try solely for reviews, as I'm a classic, sugarless coffee-man. I thought their sparkling lemonade drinks were unique to Taipei and pretty tasty. I only ordered some of their waffles for this review. I normally don't order those small waffles in Taipei because they're always sold at exuberant prices; the ingredients to make waffles are very cheap, so there's no reason why they should be sold for so much. However, if you don't mind eating overpriced waffles, I can recommend their caramel, cinnamon, and chocolate cream waffles.
On some of my visits, I noticed that they had a little stand in front of their shop giving out free pour-over coffee samples. I didn't try it because black coffee isn't my thing, but perhaps they produce some nice pour-over coffee.

This review's song selected from my MP3 player's track list:
Burgundy Red by Sunset Rollercoaster
I'm happy to say that I finally found a Taiwanese band that I liked enough to put two of their songs on my MP3 player. Their other song that I deem MP3-player worthy is My Jinji. Both of these songs are from their Jinji Kikko EP that was released in 2016.
