Le Rouge is like your local cozy Italian restaurant back home. The owner and chef, Zachery, has a passion for cooking; it's the extra ingredient that comes through in his dishes. The restaurant's atmosphere and food work for pretty much any occasion. The quality ingredients and fine food presentation convey fine dining that would be acceptable for a date or a special outing. The coziness, family atmosphere, and comfort food make for a great casual dining experience with friends if you don't mind the slightly above average prices.
Le Rouge has a nice selection of pizza, calzone, and pasta. They also offer other items such as salad, soup, bread, dessert, appetizers, and weekend brunch. You'll find yourself being rewarded if you step outside of the main offers, so don't be afraid to feel adventurous. Some of their selections land in the top in Taipei. A good amount of vegetarian dishes can be found in all these categories.
Items I tried:
Warm Couscous Salad (NT$260): Some of the best couscous I've ever had. The quality olive oil used really makes this dish. The sauteed vegetables and mixed leaf complimented the couscous, but even when they were finished and some couscous stood alone, the rich olive oil couscous was thoroughly enjoyable. Since you can't get couscous in most places in Taiwan, this is a special selection.
French Onion Soup (NT$180): Even without the fresh onions and layer of delicious cheese, the broth alone of this French onion soup was immaculate.
Ninja Calzone (NT$400): Easily one of the best calzones I've had in Taipei. If you're not familiar with what a calzone is, it's a pizza that has been folded in half, making a big half moon shape. The bread was perfectly cooked with the right amount of crispiness and hard pastry-like dough texture. There was no skimping on the mozzarella cheese as you can see in my picture. It's hard to find good pesto in Taipei since Taiwanese don't have this culinary art down, even though it isn't hard if you have the right ingredients. The pesto in this menu item was delicious and mixed exceptionally well with it's accompanying ingredients of garlic, pepperoni, black olives, spinach, tomato, and feta cheese. This was my favorite dish for the evening.
Ail Ail Ail Pizza (NT$360): Ten inch pizza with a thin flavorful red sauce and a generous amount of mozzarella cheese. My foodie friends thought there could of been a little more toppings. They may have been right, but it didn't take away from the overall taste of the pizza. We all agreed that the one thing that brought this pizza down from being great was the doughiness under the pizza; however, the crust was nicely crisp.
Carbonara Pasta (NT$280): This was the only dish that failed for the evening. The sauce was creamy, but lacked flavor and even the tasty bacon and poached egg couldn't cover up the blandness. A simple amount of sea salt, black pepper, garlic, and/or a possible green herb like basil or oregano could have really brought this dish to life.
Banambe + Ice Cream (NT$300): The crepe wrap was nicely cooked in a slightly crispy fashion. The ingredients and syrups were the right amount if you like desserts that aren't too sweet. However, the side of vanilla ice cream was noticeable freezer-burnt. Also, the price was a little too steep for this particular item.

Red House 紅館 -- I Don't Recommend ☆☆
Taipei restaurant offering: Mexican Food / Pasta / Grilled Meat / Gratin / Dessert / Snacks / Beer / Fruit Beer / Cocktails / Wine / Coffee, Tea, & Juice

Red House looks like an abandoned house that a squatter tried to pretty up with christmas lights. I don't really care about decor, if the food is good; however, the food wasn't all that great. All the Mexican food is bland and contains very little to no cheese, including the quesadilla. This is not the place to go for Mexican food because they obviously don't know what Mexican food is. I didn't try any of their pasta because they don't serve it in the late evening. If you were going to eat here, I would try the pasta or get a gratin, which is passable if you're not picky about your gratin.
Despite the lackluster decor, Red House does have a pretty nice and chilled atmosphere. They have pretty good prices for imported beers and a big enough selection of cocktails. This would be a good place to drink some beers with a friend or group of friends. I didn't try any cocktails, so I don't know anything about their mixing skills.
Items I tried:
Fajia: The meat was OK. The refried beans were pretty much a liquidy soup with not much taste. The dish was seriously lacking grilled vegetables.
Chicken Burrito plate: The meat was OK, the seasoning was completely bland, and there wasn't any cheese. I don't know what was going on with the attempted Mexican rice, but it was pretty bland as well. There was barely any salsa for the chips, and it consisted of tomatoes and onions in a watery liquid, anyway.
Pork Burrito: Same as the chicken burrito description.
Chicken Enchilada plate: Same as the chicken burrito description. The only cheese you got was the fake liquid cheese on top.
Mexican Chicken Lasagna: This is a gratin, not lasagna. This item came last, after we had tried everything else and were dissatisfied. We were joking about it because we'd never heard of a Mexican gratin or lasagna before, but it ended up being the best dish of the evening. However that is comparatively speaking, so it doesn't mean much. It had cheese, so that was a plus. I wouldn't return solely for this one item, though, as gratin in most other places is of the same quality or better.
Chicken Quesadilla: The main ingredient in a quesadilla is cheese, but there was only a little spot of fake liquid cheese at the bottom middle. We thought it was devoid of cheese entirely until this one small spot was reached. Therefore, it was just chicken and vegetables, which leaves for a very disappointing and bland quesadilla, if you could even call it a quesadilla in the first place.
Vegetarian Quesadilla: Same description as chicken quesadilla, but no chicken, which means it was very, very bland and pointless. Think more along the lines of a salad in a baked tortilla wrap.
Parmesan Cheesecake: It was lacking in rich cheese flavor and was rather bland.
Latte: Not so good latte; it either had too much milk or the espresso beans were very far from being fresh.

Curry House has a modern Japanese decor and felt very welcoming. Their is a plastic meal display outside, giving you a good idea of some of their dishes. This is a very Japanese thing to do, and I enjoyed it immensely when I was in Japan; you don't need to guess about what your dish will look like or actually be, since names on a menu can sometimes be ambiguous.
This is a good place to get a tasty Taiwanese style spaghetti meal; this is saying a lot, since I have been to many bad Taiwanese spaghetti restaurants where the noodles are either overcooked or the sauce is undesirable. It's also a good place to get Japanese style curry with rice. The curry's flavor was pretty much identical to that which I had at several restaurants in Japan. When I eat curry, it's usually Indian curry, but I have always found Japanese curry to be a lighter, less rich change of pace.
I'll have to say that I wasn't expecting much from Curry House; I was delightfully surprised that it was very good and fairly cheap. I was satisfied with everything that I tried.
Items I tried:
Spaghetti with Creamy Bacon (NT$150): The noodles were cooked al dente, which is a must for a good spaghetti. The creamy sauce was very tasty and not too overpowering. I was very happy with this Taiwanese style spaghetti dish and would order it again.
Curry Rice with Chicken and Beef (NT$145): The rice was nice and fluffy. The curry sauce, as I already mentioned, was just like the delicious curry sauces I had in Japan.
Vegetable Curry Rice (NT$140): The vegetables were fresh, and the curry and rice were just as good as in the previously mentioned dishes above. This is a nice Japanese curry option for vegetarians.
Cold Milk Tea (NT$80): Nothing spectacular, but good for a place that doesn't specialize in milk tea.
Side of Black Coffee, Salad, Corn Soup, and Panna Cotta dessert (all for NT$90): The corn soup was good like at most places in Taipei. The salad was a small bowl with fresh vegetables. I don't like black coffee, so I can't rate it, but my friend who does was satisfied with it. The panna cotta was a light, refreshing, and very tasty dessert to end a dining experience with.

A pretty well known pasta chain in Taipei that provides a cozy and eloquent dining experience. It is a very nice place to take a date, or have a romantic dinner/lunch since they have some private booths with curtains. The decor of the restaurant, taste and presentation of the food would make one think that it would be an expensive place, but it's surprisingly pleasing to your wallet. They also had a lunch special which saved us a good amount of money from what our selections would've individually costed.
I would definitely come back to one of their locations again for the atmosphere, salad, pasta, risotto, and tiramisu dessert, but would pass on their pizza. I didn't get a chance to try their gnocchi on this visit. Pasta is their specialty and there are tons of delicious options to satisfy anyone's desires.
Items I tried:
Caesar Salad: Crisp romain lettuce with a very pleasing Caesar dressing. Great, light starter!
Margherita Pizza: Bland in taste as herbs in the sauce were lacking.
Smoked Salmon with Cream Sauce: Very lightly smoked salmon with a non-overpowering cream sauce. The spaghetti was not overcooked. All together a very satisfying pasta dish!
Vegetable Olive Oil Risotto: I was very surprised with this dish because it wasn't a conventional risotto dish, but ended up being tasty; all the ingredients mesh together perfectly like a modern fusion risotto work of art.
Tiramisu Dessert: It was authentic tasting and very delicious. I wasn't expecting this and was very surprised.
Homemade Dessert: I think it changes, but this time it was an egg-like Taiwanese version of a French mille-feuille. Unique and pretty good.
Cafe Latte: Nothing spectacular, but satisfying enough.
Black Coffee with side Creamer: Good basic cup of black coffee.

A little pasta restaurant that really surprised me. I've ate at a lot of bad Taiwanese spaghetti places in Taipei, so it was a pure delight to have found this place. They don't overcook the spaghetti and most of the sauces they offer have a good taste to it, unlike a lot of other pasta Taipei restaurants with bland sauce bases. Also, you get a big amount of spaghetti for cheap: around NT$110. I've ate at other pasta restaurants in Taipei that charge double or triple this amount, and they don't give you as much or even taste that good.
The locals know about this place, so it is pretty busy during peak times. I have seen a lot of bad western style restaurants in Taipei that are popular with the locals, so it's really nice to see Taiwanese people who can recognize and appreciate good western style food on the cheap side, and make such a restaurant popular when it deserves to be. Thanks to the popularity, they now have three locations at the time I'm writing this review.
Items I tried:
Pesto Mixed Spicy Vegetables: was pretty good, but I don't think I'd get it again because it was like a kimchi spicy tasting pesto and that was just weird for me personally. However, I don't like kimchi, so you'd probably like this dish if you do.
Clam with Cream (Alfredo) and Parmesan Cheese: Good creamy Alfredo sauce with properly cooked spaghetti. I highly recommend their creamy Alfredo sauce dishes.
Clam and Ham with Pesto Sauce (we customized it and make it Alfredo sauce instead): Just as good as the other creamy Alfredo dish; top shelf.
(Gratin) Baked Pumpkin Sauce with Vegetables: I didn't care for their gratin at all. The cheese was bland tasting which brought down the whole dish; you need to have good cheese for a good gratin, of course.
(Appetizer) Vienna Sausage: They may look weird and black, but are quite tasty. Great appetizer! They come cold like on a German cold platter.
(Appetizer) Caesar Salad: Great Caesar salad with crisp lettuce and delicious dressing.
(Appetizer) Focaccia with Cheese: Didn't really taste like focaccia bread, but it was a pretty good cheese bread appetizer.
Looking back, I can't believe I didn't try their normal tomato sauce spaghetti, and I would like to try their non-spicy pesto sauce, too. I'll have to try both on my next visit. I didn't try their risotto either, but it is hard to make a good risotto, and I am purely guessing, but I don't think they would make a worthwhile risotto. The spaghetti is what makes this place excellent, so I suggest sticking to it, along with some of the good appetizers, for an assured satisfying visit.

Wendel's Bakery & Bistro has four locations with Tienmu being probably the best location because of the outside beer garden. The location in Da'an and Neihu offer just as much selection as the Tienmu, but the menu selection differs a little and they have way more pizza options than the Tienmu location. The Takashimaya branch is definitely the smallest, and while I'm sure it's good, you haven't fully experienced Wendel's until you've gone to one of the big three branches.
They offer authentic German bread in their bakery & deli, and also have some other take home items such as cheese, homemade jam, cake, and dessert. The bistro section of Wendel's serves the best Taipei German food that I have found so far. Everyone else I know, Germans included, also agree that it's the best that is available in Taipei. Wendel's is a third generational German Bakery and the current generational line, Michael Wendel, has added the delicious bistro section to the bakery.
I ate at the Tienmu branch, the flagship store, for this review. The bistro section has two sections, one inside and one outside in the biergarden (beer garden). As I said before, the beer garden is why the Tienmu location is considered the best in most people's opinions. It is nice to sit outside to enjoy the fresh air and leisurely eat your German food and beer. Every single dish that I tried from the beginning cold cuts to the finishing dessert was delicious. This is the place to be in Taipei for Oktoberfest!
Items I tried:
Cafe Mocha: A good mocha that wasn't too sweet and had a pretty good espresso coffee taste.
Cheese Board: Very good European cheese with a complimenting deli assortment.
German Cold Cuts & Cheese: Fresh and exquisite cold cut beef and ham slices with some other meats, cheese, salad, deli assortment, and mustard.
The Lentil Stew: Great tasting soup with good seasoning.
Traditional Goulash Soup: Good goulash with great seasoning.
Mediterranean Mixed Salad: Pretty good salad with a light dressing.
The Sausage Platter: Completely delicious big proportioned selection of authentic German sausages. Must try for sausage lovers. German sausage is the best in the world!
Wendel's Gourmet: Delicious dish of mushrooms in a yummy sauce and potatoes under melted cheese. Really great!
Spaghetti Neapolitan dessert: A unique dessert that kind of looks like spaghetti but tastes like vanilla ice cream with strawberry sauce. Very big and delicious dessert!
Chocolate Cream Marble cake: A perfectly rich combination of chocolate, cream, and cake for the sweet tooth lover.
Black Forest Cheesecake: A very delicious tri-layered cheesecake with a cake bottom, fruit cream middle, and cheesecake top that is absolutely scrumptious.
Beer: I tried the Pilsner and another sweet beer from the deli section. Both were great, but I really liked the cold non-hoppy, refreshing Pilsner. Definitely one of the best Pilsner's I've ever had.
Wendel's also has a dessert only location called Lolli Gelato in Q-Square. Since the dessert selection at their bakery & deli was absolutely delicious, Lolli Gelato, which has way more than just gelato, should be equally as good with a different selection of dessert.

I heard about this place from a friend who said her two Italian friends said it was the closest thing you can get to authentic spaghetti in Taipei. After eating there, I completely agree. Not only was their pasta excellent, but the lasagna was too. The pizza was very satisfying as well. They have an excellent wine selection. The chef, Matteo, is Italian and studied cooking for five years in Verona, Italy. No wonder it tastes authentic. This is the place to go for Italian pasta in Taipei.
I tried the Insalata di Cesare (Caesar Salad), Posciutto Crudo con Melone Dolce Scaglie di Permigiano ed Insalatina Mista (Ham with Sweet Melon, Parmesan Cheese, and Green Salad), Spaghetti alla Bolognese, Linguine alla Pescatora (Seafood Linguine), Spaghetti alle Vongole (Clam Spaghetti in White Wine Sauce), Linguine al Nero di Seppia (Black Ink Seafood Linguine), Lasagna alla Bolognese, Risotto ai Porcini (Mushroom Risotto), Diavola Pizza (Spicy Salami), Petto D'anatra in Salsa D'arancia (Duck Breast in Orange Sauce), Tiramisu, Original Cheese Cake, a bottle of Sicily's Negro Red Wine, and a bottle of Veneto's Tommasi Villa Fontana Bardolino.
In short, all the spaghetti was excellent because the spaghetti wasn't cooked too long and the sauces contained the right, different herbs. Pasta in Taipei is usually not that great because they cook the spaghetti too long, making it a little mushy, and they have no idea what herbs to add, making the sauce too bland or just not correct. The lasagna was also authentically delicious with very flavorful tomato sauce and cheese. The pizza was great with quality cheese and powerful salami with a slight spiciness. The roasted duck in the orange sauce was tender and really went well with that orange sauce. The Caesar Salad was fresh and had an excellent Caesar dressing. The Ham with Sweet Melon, which can be found under cold appetizers on the menu, was a perfect combination of meat with sweet fruit and was completely delicious. I didn't try the Risotto ai Porcini but could see that the portion for it was really small and was expensive. My friend who ordered it was very shocked as was I. This is the only thing that I wouldn't order at PaPa Gio'.
Both desserts, but especially the Tiramisu were excellent; one of the best Tiramisu' that I've had in Taipei. Both wines were quality and exquisite Italian wines. The Negro (NT$1,400) is more bold and the Bardolino (NT$1,300) is quite smooth for a red wine. If you don't want to spend this much on a bottle of wine, you can order a bottle of the Italian house wine for NT$700. Even Italian house wine is great.
When I want authentic Italian, delicious pasta in Taipei, I will go to PaPa Gio' from now on!
Lemon Grass hot pot restaurants is a chain that started in Kaohsiung and moved to Taipei, but this is Lemon Grass' only 24 hour gourmet tea house. The best 24hr restaurant that I have been to in Taipei. Most places that offer a large variety of different food, don't possess quality in any field, but that is not the case at Lemon Grass; everything that I had was just as good or better than a restaurant that specialized in the particular dish or drink -- usually the latter. Whether you want a full meal, snacks, or desserts along with your drinks, they have it covered. The food is also very, very reasonably priced given the amount and quality -- I was shocked! They have a section for smoking and non-smoking.
They have an array of different drinks with quality Asian and western tea. Some of the western tea choices are lavender, blueberry, chamomile, rose, mint, fennel, roselle, and lemongrass, of course. Even for drinks they have a large variety, so if you don't feel like tea or milk tea, you can get some beer, spirits, milkshakes, or juice mixed concoctions.
I tried the Gratinated Chicken with Rice, Cabbage Dumplings (veg.), Spicy Fried Chicken Cutlets, Fried Tofu, Tempura, cold Jasmine Milk Tea, Strawberry Milk Tea, Fried Sweet Potatoes, Fried Bread, and hot Citronella Grass Tea. The Gratinated Chicken with Rice came as a set, to my surprise, with a bowl of clam soup and a small salad. The main dish was very large and one of the best gratins I've had in Taipei so far. There was a large amount of quality cheese baked nicely on top and mixed into the rice with garlic, onions, and red bell peppers. The clam soup came with bits of bread and when ate hot, as the friendly waiter specified, was very delicious. It was thicker than soup, but not thick enough to be a chowder, but the taste did kind of take me back to San Francisco along the piers where famous clam chowder is served in a sourdough bread bowl. The small salad was fresh and served with a very tasty honey-like dressing.
The Cabbage Dumplings (12) came with soy sauce for dipping, and to our surprise again, a Mini Hot Pot which the menu said nothing about. The cabbage dumplings ate with just soy sauce, the Japanese way, was so simple yet so delicious; better than most vegetarian dumplings I've had at a specialized dumpling restaurant. The Mini Hot Pot came with a yummy broth and fresh vegetables, tofu, mushrooms, and fake meat. The Fried Tofu was served with a sweet Japanese soy sauce and reminded me of Watami; very satisfying. The Spicy Fried Chicken Cutlets were served with a type of tasty white sauce. The Chicken was tender and had a perfect thick breaded crispiness on the outside. I don't recall it being that spicy, but it tasted so good that I forgot about that until now. The Tempura wasn't tempura at all, but rather a heaping amount of flour covered mochi with a sweet sauce. It was a pretty yummy snack, but I was looking forward to real tempura. Keep this in mind. The Fried Bread tasted just like a really good donut in the USA, which they don't have in Taipei. The Fried Sweet Potatoes where perfectly crisped and came with a sweet delectable dipping powder.
The cold Jasmine Milk Tea was quality, came with the correct amount of sugar I specified, with the right amount of tea to milk ratio, and had a slight thickness to it, making it more appealing than a milk tea you could get at any tea shop. The hot Citronella Grass Tea came atop a candle and contained a large bag of quality, natural tea leaves inside so you could get a couple refills of hot water and still enjoy the tea's flavor. The Strawberry Milk Tea was delicious and tasted more like a strawberry milkshake. I don't think it had much tea in it, but that didn't matter -- it was so good.
This will not only be my go-to late night local, but a place I'll visit anytime of the day. Excellent tea and food!

N.Y. Bagels has been open since 1998 and was the first bagel shop in Taipei. Yes, they have much, much more than just bagels, but if you're looking for bagels, they serve the best bagels in Taipei. If you're missing NY style bagels, this is where you need to come. I visited their only 24 hour location out of their seven locations. I tried their Fresh Egg Cream of Bacon Sauce Pasta, Cinnamon Raisin Bagel with Onion and Chive Cream Cheese, Blueberry Bagel with Fruit Cream Cheese, Spinach Eggs Benedict Breakfast Set, Bacon Breakfast Set, Sausage Breakfast Set with French Toast instead of a Bagel and Scrambled Eggs instead of sunny-side up, N.Y. Cheese Burger, Strawberry Heaven Pudding Toast, Mixed Fruits Caramelized Pudding Toast, Hot Mocha Latte, Hot Cafe Latte, and a Tiramisu Coffee.
I wasn't expecting N.Y. Bagels Cafe to be a good place to go for pasta, but it was surprisingly good. The Linguine wasn't over cooked and the cream sauce had a satisfying taste that mixed very well with the bacon. The N.Y. Cheese Burger was a good burger with a nice beef pattie flavor. Not the best I've had, but certainly better than a lot of burgers in Taipei. The Cinnamon Raisin Bagel was a good, authentic bagel just like you get at a quality place in America and the Onion and Chive Cream Cheese was delightful, maybe could've been more powerful, but that is debatable. The Blueberry Bagel and especially the Fruit Cream Cheese were absolutely superb. The Spinach Eggs Benedict Breakfast Set would've been really delicious, but the spinach was cold unlike the rest of the Benedict which was off-putting and kind of ruined the whole dish. Try to get them to warm up the spinach if you order this. If they won't, don't bother with it. Such a shame because you don't normally see a vegetarian Eggs Benedict and I know it would taste exquisite if they make this one altercation. The Bacon Breakfast Set and the Sausage Breakfast Set were pretty good, but a little too basic and leaves me wishing their was something more on my plate for a big hearty American breakfast. If you aren't a pig like me, it might be enough to please you, though.
Both the Pudding Toasts were a complete disaster. Sure the picture looks good, but the bread tastes not only completely doll, but has a big yeast flavored aftertaste -- disgusting! I normally always finish my meals, but this dish was not worth the stomach room, at all. The Hot Cafe Latte and the Hot Mocha Latte were both not even close to being hot, but a little warmer than room temperature, which would piss-off any coffee aficionado. The two cups of coffee themselves were OK, too much milk taste and not enough espresso taste. It is hard to find a good cup of coffee in Taipei. Too bad because I was looking forward to drinking coffee at this location during one of my late night meanderings since it's open 24 hours.

Foremost, Gordon Biersch is a brewery that brews their own award winning quality beers, using only traditional ingredients imported from Germany. You can try any of their beers in a 500ml glass for NT$230 -- great price for such quality beer. You can also get a sampling of all their beer for NT$230. If you want, you can take some of their beer home with you in a growler. As a fine establishment, they also serve an array of quality meals which are listed above.
I tried their Pepperoni Mushroom Pizza, Gordon Biersch Cheese Burger, and Gordon Biersch's Golden Export and Seasonal Beer. I'm not a beer drinker so I can't properly rate it, but I was accompanied by a German and he was very satisfied. Besides, Gordon Biersch's beers have won gold, silver, and bronze medals, which is enough to convey the quality of their beer.
The Gordon Biersch Cheese Burger was downright delicious. They asked me how I wanted it cooked which is a rarity in Taipei. I felt like blood that night and ordered it medium-rare, and that is exactly what I got. The burger was so satisfying that I swallowed it up in less than 5 minutes, it seemed. The beef pattie was thick and full of flavor and the burger was accompanied by their famous garlic French fries. The only thing about the burger that wasn't top notch was the bread bun because it was a white flavorless bread and the bottom part was soft, mushy, and almost turned into a liquid on my fingers; although, that last part is probably due to the fact that I had the beef pattie cooked to medium-rare, making it full of more juices than normal. The pizza was pretty good. They make their own dough which is nice because it's fresh, but the dough wasn't cooked enough, leaving it too doughy and didn't really have any flavor to it. The toppings were quality, but I didn't like the fact that half the cheese wasn't melted. It was a pretty good pizza and accompanied the beer quite nicely, but for NT$440, I would rather get pizza elsewhere that is better and cheaper.

By the Red House Theater (紅樓劇場), close by the Ximen MRT Station is Mcafe, which has nothing to do with McDonald's, a slightly overpriced restaurant with a nice old time English country house decor. When I visited Le Cafe Ariel, which has the best waffles in Taipei, I was told about Mcafe by the staff because they have the same owner. Mcafe also offers these same waffles, but only serves them from 2pm-5pm & 9pm-10:30pm. I would think they're the same quality waffles at Mcafe, but didn't get to find out due to the time they're offered.
I tried the Seasonal Mushroom Linguine Truffle Flavor Pasta, Grilled Rib Eye USDA Choice Steak (8.5 oz), Bread Topped Corn Soup, Hot Milk Tea, and Iced Mocha Latte. The pasta dish had fresh quality ingredients, but was too bland and miserably failed at tantalizing my taste-buds. I've had better pasta for less than a third of the price. The Rib Eye Steak was first cooked wrong as I asked for medium-rare and they brought me medium-well, so I had to have them cook a new one and asked for rare the second time. It came as medium-rare, as no blood leaked onto the plate at all. I was afraid of this and that is why I ordered rare the second time around. Keep this in mind if you're going to order a steak at Mcafe and don't go there if you like your steak rare. It was very tasty and was accompanied with some delicious seasoned, roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes.
The Bread Topped Corn Soup was delicious. The Hot Milk Tea had a watered down boring taste. The Iced Mocha Latte fared better, but still lacked being great or worth ordering.
