Since coffee shouldn't be too expensive, I normally don't go to coffee shops that sell cappuccinos for over NT$100 or thereabouts, but I was really craving a cappuccino and Olivia Coffee Roaster had a relaxing vibe to it that beckoned me to forgo my typical coffee ethics and dig into my wallet for some galvanizing java.
The customer service was great: They give you water and a menu right when you come in and sit down, and they bring the drink to your table. Keep in mind that they don't charge a service fee. Their cappuccino was fantastic: served at the correct temperature so I could drink it right on its arrival, had a nice coffee flavor and didn't solely taste like milk, contained a good amount of caffeine that I started to feel about halfway through the drink, and was topped off with foam art -- not that I really care about the last point because taste is what's important.
They had other enticing drinks on their menu that persuaded me to return three more times and do a review, despite their prices. Not many places serve a flat white, which was my favorite drink whilst living in Australia for a year. It's debated whether it originated in Australia or New Zealand. Instead of typing up a long explanation about what a flat white is, check out the link if you're interested. Also, they have an authentic macchiato, instead of the American macchiato, which has nothing to do with the original Italian macchiato -- why didn't American coffee shops give their new drink its own name? An authentic (Italian-style) macchiato is basically an espresso with a small amount of foamed milk on top. Macchiato is an Italian word that means "marked" or "stained," so you can see where the drink gets its name from: The espresso is stained with some foamed milk. Given Olivia Coffee Roaster's drinks, I'd classify their coffee as Italian-style and Australian-style, which are two top-notch styles.
I will say that, comparatively speaking, Olivia Coffee Roaster is cheaper than most other quality, upper-end coffee shops. So if you don't mind paying a little more for exceptional coffee, you should pay them a visit.

Hunter describes different coffee drinks; the Italian version and the "Western" alterations, including the dreaded macchiato.
